Spurs Open to Transferring Forward Brennan Johnson.
Spurs' European final hero Brennan Johnson confronts an unclear situation at the club due to rising Premier League attention in his services.
Reports indicate that the club, while not actively looking to part with the Wales international, are open to a potential departure in the event of a suitable offer.
The Eagles are reportedly the club most advanced in their interest for Johnson, but a number of sides are thought to be monitoring his situation closely.
A Season of Contrasts
Johnson was Tottenham's leading Premier League scorer the previous campaign with 11 strikes, and wrote his name in Spurs folklore by netting the decisive goal in their Europa League final victory over Manchester United in Bilbao, ending the club's 17-year wait for a trophy.
However, the exit of Ange Postecoglou and arrival of the new head coach has meant Johnson playing more of a bit-part role in the current campaign.
The 24-year-old, has been granted only six top-flight starts under Frank.
Transfer Window Speculation Mounts
As a result, a number of clubs have been alerted to his possible departure before the winter transfer window.
Due to his lack of action and the looming possibility of a World Cup on the horizon with his national team, a transfer elsewhere from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could benefit Johnson next month.
Johnson joined Tottenham from Forest in a deal valued at £47.5m in the summer of 2023 and has scored twenty-seven goals for the club.
